DCMF invites entrants to cartoon contest ahead of World Press Freedom Day



In honor of the upcoming World Press Freedom Day on May 3, the Doha Centre for Media Freedom is inviting submissions for its cartoon contest.   

Entrants are asked to submit a cartoon that hues to the theme “media freedom” by April 1. 

Any text on the cartoons should be translated into English or Arabic. Only original work will be accepted, and cartoons can be in black and white or in color.

Winners will be notified by April 2, and cash prizes of $1,500, $1,000 and $800 to the top three ranked cartoonists on May 3.
