Here’s a list of Qatar’s eight most important landmarks

Eight life-size photo frames have gone up across Qatar at the most significant landmarks in the country this week.

They are the Museum of Islamic Art; Katara Cultural Village; Al Zubarah Fort; Souq Waqif; Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum; Aspire Zone; Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque; and Richard Serra’s East-West installation near Zekreet.

The frames are part of a new World Tourism Day competition to encourage residents to explore the nation.

According to the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), residents can enter to win prizes like weekend hotel stays by taking photos with the frames and sharing them on social media under the hashtags #QTD2016 and #ShowcaseQatar.

The frames will up until Saturday, Oct. 1.
