Is Ramadan declared in Qatar?

Not yet.

Although some have predicted tomorrow to be the first day of fasting, and others expect it to be on Wednesday, Qatar has not made an official determination yet.

This evening, the Crescent Sighting Committee at Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs will be on the look-out for the new moon. The committee will be meeting at the ministry’s headquarters in Dafna after Maghrib prayer (around 6:30pm).

A decision will probably be made around 8pm, we’ll keep you in the loop.

UPDATE: Qatar has declared the night of July 9 the start of Ramadan, with the first fast on July 10.
