Qatar condemns deadly shooting in Munich

-

Qatar’s foreign affairs ministry has denounced as a “criminal act” a shooting at a shopping mall in Munich, Germany that killed at least nine people and injured 16 others yesterday.

The attacker is now dead and has been described by police as an 18-year-old German-Iranian. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but Qatar called on the international community to work together to “eradicate the phenomenon of terrorism within a comprehensive perspective that ensures the uprooting of this plague.”
