Qatar more than doubles number of labor inspectors in past two years

Qatar has increased the number of labor inspectors from 300 to 350 in the past month, advancing on plans to have 400 such workers in place by the end of the year. About two years ago, there were 150 inspectors.

According to QNA, Qatar’s Labor Minister said all the inspectors are “young people who are keen on implementing the international and Arab standards of the labor market.”
