Report: Peak summer fares making flights ‘unaffordable’


Pricey fares are making a summer getaway unaffordable for some, according to the Gulf Times.

It also reports that it’s getting tricky to find a seat on flights to the most popular destinations – India, the Philippines, Malaysia, the UK and the US – in the next month.

It quotes the current price of a return economy fare to London as more than QR5,300, compared with QR4,600 just a month ago.
