Two-thirds of those who responded to the Qatar Green Building Council survey said they did not have convenient recycling facilities, while others admitted they failed to adopt energy-saving practices like turning off the TV when not in use.
An increasing population means that Qatar produces 7 percent more waste each year, putting enormous pressure on current facilities, and greater focus is being put on reducing waste produced by residents.
