Working from home can at times become unstimulating, isolating, distracting or a mere routine. So for the days when you need a break from your bedroom desk or dining table, check out this list.

As restrictions finally lift, the urge to venture out beyond the familiar four walls of our homes has become stronger than ever. This calls for the hunt to find the ideal work space, accompanied with good internet, silence and a conducive working atmosphere with plenty of power outlets.   1. MIA Cafe – Museum of Islamic Art

This cafe greets you with arguably the most spectacular view of Doha’s West Bay Skyline. The large windows mirror the city’s rising buildings, reflecting the glow of the water along the corniche. With a wide selection of coffees, cakes and smoothies, you can definitely find yourself happily perched here all day – especially during golden hour. If you are looking for a spacious cafe, 42’s new and bigger branch in Tawar Mall is the perfect place for you, with more seating areas and comfortable sofas.

  1. Café #999 – Fire Station, Mohammed Bin Thani St

Café #999— which was once an operating fire station— is located in one of Qatar’s top creative hubs that supports the local art community. Located at the Fire Station, the atmosphere is characterised by a sense of simplicity and the space within the piazza offers a unique sense of tranquility right in the centre of the city.
